Having been founded in 1909 to bring sea fishing to Hove the club has grown and grown and now offers to its members excellent facilities, with 12 boats that go out to sea each weekend. ANGLING & SOCIAL
Over the years the club has grown into a successful members angling and social club – a popular retreat for many of Hove’s residents. With 12 boats going out most weekends and beach fishing competitions.
HDSA Clubhouse plays host to snooker, darts and poker leagues, with teams, competitions and more. Club events include Band Nights, Family Days, Whisky Tasting evenings, BBQ’s, Easter Beer Festival and lots more!
Our fantastic club house offers a lunchtime service Monday to Saturday. The menu includes local caught fish, home-made pies, sandwiches and blackboard specials. Enjoy with your favourite tipple and a view of the sea!
HDSA has a full and comprehensive social calendar to accommodate all its members. Many types of bands play at the club from rock and indie bands, easy listening and even operatic groups, we cater for all tastes. Club events include Family Days, Whisky Tasting evenings, BBQ’s, Easter Beer Festival etc. (All these events are open to members only).
